Stone-plastic floor and linen floor belong to elastic floor, but there are some differences:
_Composition and production process are different: Flax floor is made of a mixture of oxidized flaxseed oil, cork and wood powder, laminated onto the jute backing. The stone-plastic floor is a solid base with high density and high fibre reticulation structure made of natural marble powder. The surface is covered with super-strong wear-resistant polymer PVC wear-resistant layer. It is processed through hundreds of processes. From this point of view, flax is made of pure natural flax material, but the stone-plastic floor is made of natural stone powder and natural flax. Resins are pure green environmental protection materials.
_Wear resistance and stability are different: flax flooring is generally resistant to scratches, and flax flooring is hard and soft, which is why thick flax flooring is not very good in scratch resistance, compared with stone flooring, the wear resistance is better. In addition, the dimensional stability of flax flooring is general, so it is necessary to use strong glue. On the whole, the stability of flax flooring is inferior to that of stone-plastic flooring.
There are differences in the degree of difficulty and ease of maintenance: flax floors need to be maintained under natural light, samples and objects will be different, yellowing, flax floors have poor resistance to maintenance products (PH > 7), flax floors in need of re-polishing, waxing must use special maintenance products. Flax floors are much harder than stone floors, but because the surface is porous, all stains must be removed quickly, otherwise the surface will leave imprints that are difficult to remove and have to be polished and waxed again. Because it is not a thermoplastic material, so it can not be recycled, scalded marks can be easily worn off, but for deeper scalded marks, the permeable stone floor panels are much easier to polish than flax floor panels.
Installation difficulty is different: it is difficult to install flax flooring, if the indoor temperature is too low, flax flooring will break. Because of its absorption nature and dimensional instability, the product must be quickly installed with strong glue. For example, in a day, an installation team can lay 80 to 100_stone flooring, or maybe only 60_flax flooring. Flax oil is insensitive to temperature and can not be welded with welding rods of the same material, so it is not welded but "seam", so flax floor can not be divided into E3 waterproof type, flax floor is not suitable for wet rooms or areas with clean requirements. Flax floors emit a strong odor and remain in the installed room.
